Nathaniel Garcia - Challenges of First Response

FH314.jpeg

This week we talk to my brother-in-law, Nathaniel Garcia, who is a Paramedic in Southern California. Nathaniel grew up at Camp Cedar Falls in the San Bernardino National Forest. He became a lifeguard in high school and received his CPR certification through the American Red Cross. He went on to go to college at Pacific Union College in Northern California where his biggest stepping stone into he first responder role opened up. He went into the fire academy then on to EMT school. He was in an EMT role for 12 years and then became a paramedic for the last 5 years within San Bernardino County.

In this episode:

  • Hear how Nathaniel’s journey began with a love for the outdoors and a pull towards first aid

  • See how God uses Nathaniel everyday

  • Learn that you are not alone and it’s ok to ask for help

Humanity and compassion - what an inspiring story! Thank you again for listening and until next week, have faith and hope.
